“Twinkling Watermelon” is a fantasy coming-of-age drama wherein a CODA (youngster of deaf grownup) scholar born with a present for music unintentionally travels again in time to 1995 by way of a suspicious music store. There, he varieties the band Watermelon Sugar with different mysterious youths.
