FIFTY FIFTY has simply achieved a tremendous feat on the UK’s Official Singles Chart!
Final month, FIFTY FIFTY made historical past on the UK’s Official Charts (usually considered the U.Ok. equal to Billboard’s U.S. charts) when their viral hit “Cupid” debuted at No. 96 on the Official Singles Chart, making them the quickest K-pop woman group ever to enter the chart.
Since then, the track has been steadily climbing up the chart and hitting a brand new peak every week—and in its fifth consecutive week on the Official Singles Chart, “Cupid” broke the highest 20 and rose to No. 18.
With this achievement, “Cupid” is now the highest-ranking track sung solely by a K-pop woman group within the historical past of the Official Singles Chart. (Together with collaborations, Girl Gaga and BLACKPINK‘s monitor “Bitter Sweet” holds the report after peaking at No. 17 again in 2020.)
